‘Spectrality: Temporal Impulses’ paints the world in colour with convolution patterns of granular mashups, twisted harmonic delays and modulation madness. Suitable for any style craving fantasy and other-worldlyness, but for that extra fit, slap them onto something electronic.
Created by plucking very short sounds on pianos, plastic buckets and windows to old fashioned synthesizers and guitars, sent through a diverse range of effects and then through some analogue goodness on its way back.
The result ranges from beautiful harmonic shimmerings to plain weirdness, and everything in between.
The tempo might and might not, entirely depending on the material send into it, set boundaries to where the impulses belong. In fact, some files actually provide you with pockets of niceties for your groove if you really set out to misuse them from a tempo perspective.

Inherent pitch in the impulses is a different matter. Total alignment in pitch might cause recursive feedback, so watch your speakers, but just the right amount of dissonance might sound awesome!
In detail, expect to find 254 impulses at 80, 90, 100, 110, 120 and 130 BPM, all in all summing up to 573 MB of 48 kHz, 24-Bit WAV SAMPLES files.
Gear used includes KYMA, SCOPE, Kurzweil KDFX system, Oberheim OB-MX, Tonelux OTB16, API 2500, Kush Clariphonic, Rodec Restyler, and a whole armada of props and exotic VST PLUGINS effect plugins.
All impulses in the Demo represented as loaded into REVerence, the included convolution reverb in Cubase/Nuendo. Other great VST PLUGINS convolution reverbs represented as SIR2, Altiverb, Voxengo Pristine Space, Liquidsonics Reverberate, and WV IR1, to name a few.
